1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing Nightmist Legacy ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental consent.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not sell, trade, or transfer accounts. You may not use automation, bots, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage. You may not reverse-engineer or exploit the Game's server software.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (character names, clan names, trade listings, support messages). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and store it for the purpose of operating the Game. You may not post content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others.
6. Intellectual Property
All game content, code, artwork, lore, and design created by the development team is protected by copyright and belongs to the operators of Nightmist Legacy. You may not reproduce or distribute it without explicit written permission.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, the Rules of Conduct, or the EULA, at our sole discretion. Banned accounts forfeit any in-game progress.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or data preservation. Play at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of Nightmist Legacy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Game.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the game operators reside. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
