Rules
Nightmist Legacy is a community-run game. These rules keep it a place worth playing in.
1. One Account Per Person
Each player is permitted one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain advantage is considered cheating and will result in a permanent ban of all accounts involved.
2. No Exploiting or Cheating
Exploiting bugs, using automation tools, bots, or any third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Report bugs rather than exploit them.
3. Respectful Conduct
Harassment, slurs, threats, or sustained targeted abuse of other players will not be tolerated. Player-vs-player conflict is part of the game — personal attacks are not.
4. No Real-World Trading
Trading in-game items, gold, or characters for real-world currency is prohibited. The game economy must remain in the game.
5. Keep It Legal
Do not discuss, promote, or engage in illegal activity in-game or in community spaces. This includes anything that would violate applicable law in your jurisdiction.
6. Staff Decisions Are Final
Moderators and developers have the final say in enforcement decisions. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal calmly — arguing in public channels will not help your case.
7. No Impersonation
Do not impersonate staff members, moderators, or other players. Do not claim to have authority you do not have.
8. Character Names
Character names must not be offensive, sexually explicit, impersonate real people, or reference other games/franchises. Names violating these rules will be changed without notice.
